  2. in skillet, brown sausage, drain excess grease
  3. in bowl mix soup, french onion dip, sour cream, onion, bell peppers, salt & pepper, and cheese
  4. fold in thawed hash browns
  5. starting with sausage, layer potato mixture with sausage. making sure the top layer is the sausage.
  6. bake uncovered
